Boundary error refers to infractions of specific limits or boundary
conditions on the suitability of data. Boundary errors may result from
exceeding a maximum or minimum numerical value or from exceeding the
acceptable length of text in forms. Boundary errors are a special concern
with client data input on HTML pages.
